Report on: The »Christmas’ fairy tale« concert

Introduction
This report is penned by a student of Gimnazija Jesenice and presents the concert’s intention, the artists who took part in it and how it was organized. It is made to satisfy necessities of the ITS-subject and is posted on 4-je iz GimJes website.
The Purpose of the Concert
The concert’s purpose was strictly charitable. There was no entrance fee but one could give donations were appreciated. Fortunately, the school managed to raise about 250 euros.
Performing Artists
Since the concert was organized by Gimnazija Jesenice, most of the invited performers were current students of Gimnazija Jesenice and some were former students or invited choirs from outside the school. The concert consisted of 25 acts, which were brought to the crowd by 14 different single artists and choirs.
Organization
The concert was, as each year, organized by Urška Odar. All the choirs were conducted by her as she teaches singing and playing instruments. There was also a thoughtful Christmas themed market before and after the show. It took place on the Seventeenth of December 2019 at six o’clock and lasted for about an hour and a half.
Suggestions
In conclusion, the performance of all artists was well done. I believe that the students could have attracted more people by posting the invitation either on social media or information boards across the town. Lastly, I have enjoyed and already recommended it to many people.
